Who we are
We are a multicultural Christian community where people from many different countries call St. Aidan’s their spiritual home. We welcome people from a variety of Christian traditions – Anglican, the United Church of Canada, Methodist, Roman Catholic, the Orthodox tradition – as well as those who are just beginning to explore the Christian way.
We encourage people to ask questions about spirituality and faith, and to be open to a variety of approaches to following Jesus Christ.
We are located in the south-east part of The City of Ottawa, just five minutes east of the General Hospital and only minutes from the Queensway. We are easily accessible by OC Transpo, taxi, bicycle and by foot.
We have ample parking and both our washrooms and worship space are accessible.
We hope to see you in person and greet you as a brother or sister made in the image of God, as we all are.

St Aidan's History
May your light illuminate our hearts
Eternal God, this holy night is radiant with the brilliance of your one true light. May that light illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds. May the hope, the peace, the joy, and the love represented by the birth in Bethlehem this night fill our lives and become part of all that we say and do. May we share the divine life of your son Jesus Christ, even as he humbled himself to share our humanity. Amen.
