Who we are
Welcome to Our Parish
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our parish. St. Albert the Great Parish was formed in 1995 and continues to be a busy and growing part of Southeast Calgary.
When Fr. Pat started this parish it was his hope that one day it would grow into a beacon of God's love in the community. The melding of tradition and contemporary was to be used to draw all people to God.
On January 5th, 2003 the dream came into being as St. Albert the Great Church was Consecrated to the glory of God.
Today the parish continues to grow and attempts to share in the building up of God's Kingdom here on earth.
We invite you to share with us and grow with us as we all learn to grow more in love with God and neighbour

Abide in my heart
Come, Lord Jesus, and abide in my heart. How grateful I am to realize that the answer to my prayer does not depend on me at all. As I quietly abide in You and let Your life flow into me, what freedom it is to know that the Father does not see my threadbare patience or insufficient trust, rather only Your patience, Lord, and Your confidence that the Father has everything in hand. In Your faith I thank You right now for a more glorious answer to my prayer than I can imagine. Amen.
