Who we are
St. Martin’s worship reflects our faithfulness in working to fulfil our mission statement :
The Purpose of St. Martin’s Cathedral is: To be a family of worshipping Christians; where the faith is taught –where people of all ages can grow in love and commitment to Christ in an atmosphere of caring, sharing, loving and respect for all persons; - where opportunity is provided for witness and service in the wider community.
Our worship provides a balanced respect for: Anglican Tradition , Youth Culture, Younger Children and Families, always searching for the Unity and Grace of the Holy Spirit, and is highlighted by the extensive and faithful involvement of our lay people in every service.
A recent renovation to the Cathedral has allowed us to incorporate, the teaching and faith experience of our Sunday School into regular worship.
A Warm Welcome and a Cup of Tea awaits you at St. Martins!

Messy Church at St. Martins
Messy Church offers people of all ages the opportunity to be a part of a fun, sometimes messy, church congregation that meets once a month.
We learn about God in a variety of ways:
Through singing fun action songs,
Doing messy and creative crafts,
Hearing and talking about Bible stories, and
Worshiping and eating together.
Each month we focus on a different Bible story. All activities tell about the story and how it relates to our lives.
Don’t be shy and come as you are and... whenever you can between the start and finish time!

Open our ears.
Blessed Lord, open our ears to hear what Thou speakest and our eyes to see as Thou seest. Give us hearts to beat in sympathy with Thine at the sight of every little child; and above all, our Lord, to understand and experience how surely and how blessedly Thou fulfilest Thy promise, "Whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."
