Who we are
Sutton Baptist Church was founded in 1908 and is one of the areas largest churches with over 500 members.
We offer an extensive range of events and activities for Christians and non-Christians, welcoming and serving the community throughout the week.
Making Sense of Life Together Sharing the Love of Jesus
We believe in the need to Make Sense to a broken world, we believe in God’s wisdom for every day Life. We value working Together and recognise that we need the different gifts that we all bring. We seek to Share the Love of Jesus, in our church and beyond into our community and the wider world. This love is overwhelming, costly and challenging in its grace and mercy. We are committed to making Church a place where all can come each week and meet God.

Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church History
Grant me, O Lord...
Grant me, O Lord, to know what I ought to know,to love what I ought to love, to praise what delights Thee most, to value what is precious in Thy sight, to hate what is offensive to Thee. Do not suffer me to judge according to the sight of my eyes, nor to pass sentence according to the hearing of the ears of ignorant men; but to discern with a true judgment between things visible and spiritual, and above all, always to inquire what is the good pleasure of Thy will.
