Who we are
All Saints is a multi-generational community of Christian believers. When we gather for worship, we celebrate God’s love. When we work together, we strive to make God’s love visible in the world. Our local and global involvements create many opportunities for meaningful service.
What We Believe
If the grace of God is like the atmosphere in which we live, then love is like the oxygen, and faith compares to breathing. God’s grace sustains disciples from birth, through death, and beyond. For us faith is active: trusting, serving, praying, and celebrating are parts of an active response to the grace of God. It’s the best life we know, one we would like to enjoy with you.
As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we are connected to the mission of the church through the ages, and around the world. We believe the best possible life is one lived in and for God, the God-made-visible in Jesus Christ. We believe the best hope for the world is the path laid down by Jesus Christ. We believe God can and will use us to fulfill God’s own mission. We believe that the life, death and resurrection of Jesus made God visible to the whole world, and has touched our lives forever. We believe the Holy Spirit makes us a community and empowers us to serve others. We believe God’s Word comes to us through the Bible, the inspired, authoritative source and norm of our faith and life. We believe Baptism and Communion are places where the living Christ has promised to meet us with transformative effects. When we serve others and address issues that affect the common good, locally and globally, we live out the Christian faith.

I ask you neither for health nor for sickness, for life nor for death; but that you may dispose of my health and my sickness, my life and my death, for your glory... You alone know what is expedient for me; you are the sovereign master, do with me according to your will. Give to me, or take away from me, only conform my will to yours. I know but one thing, Lord, that it is good to follow you, and bad to offend you. Apart from that, I know not what is good or bad in anything. I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom.
