Who we are
Altrincham Baptist Church is a community of people who want to follow Jesus and help others to be his disciples. We are based in Altrincham, South Manchester, although we serve a wide area and work in partnership with other churches. Over recent years we have seen changes in our leadership team and have recently returned to our refurbished building on Hale Road. But what we are most excited about is the new journey of faith on which God is leading us; a journey which sees lived-out discipleship at the heart of what we are.
At Altrincham Baptist Church we seek to be followers after Jesus. As we live and share our lives, we want to bring glory to God and realise his kingdom here on earth. We aim to do this under the teaching of the Bible and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

"I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray."
