Who we are
Confused about Life or in Despair ?
Life can be confusing, the answer is found in getting saved. Do you fear or despair this life ? The answer is to get saved. God never intended for us to be confused, the bible says God is not the author of confusion, God is not the author of your fear or despair, He will free you, if you will let Him. We would be glad to help you. The answer is not a religion, or a denomination but the answer is in changing your relationship to God. If you are not saved, you are lost. You are a child of the world, you have no relationship with God, your eternal destination is hell. If you get saved you become a son of God, your eternal destination is heaven. You go from darkness (confusion and desperation) to light and become a new creature in Christ.
Please read "The Way of Salvation below". If you get saved drop us a note so we can rejoice in you making the best decision of your life. If you are in the area please stop in and find out more about growing in Christ.
Your Need to be Saved
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Rom 3:10 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Rom 3:23
There is a Penalty for Sin: Eternal Death
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Rev 20:15
God's Provision for your Sinful Condition - Jesus Christ
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rom 5:8
Christ sacrifce reconciles us to God
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" 1 Peter 1:18-19
You Can be Saved Right Now
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Rom 10:9-10
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom 10:13
Please be Saved Right Now!
"For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2
There is no magic formula to asking God to save you. As you can see above it is belief in the heart and confession with your mouth. Sincerely, tell God, you know that you are a sinner and in need of Gods forgiveness. That you believe Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sins, was buried and arose again. That you now with a repentant heart, ask to receive The Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour.

Leader Bio:
My name is Bob Joseph and this is my wife Serena. My wife and I married on Dec 4th, 1980 and have six grown children and several grandchildren.
My salvation experience: I was lost and undone and wandered in this world for 32 years. I recieved the free gift of salvation on Sept 21, 1975 at Ripley Community Church in Southern Maryland, after being being witnessed to by my life long friend Buddy Cargill many times.
Serena's salvation experience: after growing up in South-western VA, she was in and out of churches. She recieved a false scence of what salvation was. It was not until 1981 in a church in Fredricksburg VA that we were attending that she really understood what salvation was and accepted Christ as her personal saviour.
I served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1962.
I attended and graduated from Pensacola Bible Institute in May of 1986. After school we came back to the Fredricksburg area and started a work in an union hall in Fredricksburg VA . We worked in Fredricksburg for several years and had a work of about 20 people. I turned it over and felt the Lord lead me to be the Associate pastor for my lifelong friend Buddy Cargill at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Bryans Road MD. After Buddy's graduation, I started a church in Lygnum VA. That church today has moved from Lygnum to King George VA, to White Plains MD, to La plata MD, to finally Faulkner MD. Â

The way, the truth, and the life
Lord Jesus, thou who art the way, the truth, and the life; hear us as we pray for the truth that shall make all free. Teach us that liberty is not only to be loved but also to be lived. Liberty is too precious a thing to be buried in books. It costs too much to be hoarded. Help us see that our liberty is not the right to do as we please, but the opportunity to please to do what is right.
