Bayview Christian Center is led by Pastors Chico and Anna Michael. They both prefer practical Bible-based teaching and an ongoing revelation from the Lord.
Fred “Chico” Michael
Chico is a gifted Bible teacher who enjoys teaching at a level where people actually 'get' the message and can apply it to their lives. His passion is to allow people the opportunity to step out and minister in the call that God has put in them.
Chico holds a PhD in Theology, an undergraduate degree in Theology and an Associate’s degree in Computer Science; nevertheless, he is pretty much a “what you see is what you get” kind of person. He was born again in 1980 at a local Baptist church, where he was helping out with the music ministry. Throughout his Christian life, he has held many positions in both denominational and non-denominational churches.
Both Chico and Anna are bi-vocational and also work as real estate agents at a local brokerage. Before becoming a licensed real estate agent in 1989, Chico worked in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration trade for more than 20 years and owned a Class A mechanical company.
Anna Michael
Besides serving as Associate Pastor, Anna fills various positions in the church. She currently serves in the music ministry and teaches the school-aged kids in Children’s Church on Sunday mornings. She has a heart for the little ones to know and walk in the Word just like the people in “big” church, and she insists on Word-based curriculum for all ages.
Anna holds a Master’s Degree in Ministry. She was born again in 1965 in a southern Illinois church and began serving in ministry by helping with both children’s and music ministries. Both Chico and Anna were part of a ministry team that pastored and taught a children’s church for several years.
Anna has a 20-year background in computer programming and has worked for more than 15 years in real estate.

We are located at 2905 Leroy St, Bacliff, Texas 77518 – off Highway 146 and just south of Kemah, in the Clear Lake/Bay Area of southeast Houston. Bayview is a tiny community located within the Bacliff city limits.
