Who we are
We are a Bible Believing Church located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, just down the road from the Oceana Naval Air Station. We are focused on pleasing the Lord Jesus Christ through the preaching of His Word, the King James Bible. We desire to grow both physically and spiritually, and we are very excited about what the Lord is doing here! If you are a visitor, please feel free to look around, read our doctrinal statement, and contact us with any questions you might have.
If you live in or around the Hampton Roads area, we would certainly welcome a visit to our church! We enjoy Sunday School classes for adults as well as children, and quality nursery services are provided for each worship service. Leader Bio:
Pastor Anthony Mai was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area. He was raised in a Christian home but without true faith in the Lord Jesus. He trusted Christ for Salvation at the age of eighteen (2005) and he and his wife, Keyra were married in 2007.
They now have four children, Rebecca, Nicholas, Judah, and Rachel. Pastor Mai has attended Bible Believers Baptist church from its foundation where he was trained under our former pastor, Timothy MacDonald. He served faithfully at Bible Believers Baptist Church for many years before becoming the pastor in 2021.
His highest ambitions are to please the Lord in every aspect of his life, to help God’s people grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, and to bring many more to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Â
