Who we are
Bowie UMC is a contemporary multi-cultural church headquartered in an eclectic area of Prince George’s County, Maryland. We are a “To Go” church with community commitment and global perspective. We strive to connect with individuals in our community through a culture of relevant life-giving ministry encounters. Our mission is “To Go” into our communities and streets to extend the radical love of Jesus through service and justice advocacy. We aim “To Go” help people experience Christ in the myriad of joyous ways he manifests himself.
We engage in relentless global outreach -- meeting people where they are and showing them the unfailing love of Christ. We have removed the barriers of traditional church to present the hope of a Savior for all people.
No matter where you are in your life journey, you are invited to connect with us. There are services for the whole family that include teaching, worship, mission, fellowship, and many opportunities to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ. Be refreshed and revived; then partner with us “To Go” into the world and reveal the finished work of Jesus Christ.
