Who we are
Bridge Church is a friendly, growing church in the beautiful city of Lincoln. Everyone is welcome to join us for any of our meetings or events. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God of Great Britain and Ireland. To find out more about us, please see the information below, or browse this site. Our main Sunday celebration service starts at 11.00am. It finishes at about 12.15pm, and is followed by an informal time of refreshments, for which you are very welcome to join us.
Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Some people come smartly dressed, others come more casually.
When you arrive you will receive a warm welcome at the door and we may give you some information about the church and our events. We generally start with music when we usually stand as we sing and some people enjoy raising their hands or clapping. We get excited about God! We encourage everyone to participate, but there is no set format or requirement to get involved. Don’t worry if you don’t know the words they will be on the screen. Then there will be an inspirational message, tackling real issues that will hopefully leave you well prepared to face the adventure of a new week.

There is a small free car park opposite the church (at the Bridge Community Venue), or you should be able to park on the road near the church.
Bridge Church Lincoln Service Times
On Sunday mornings, we currently run 2 services. At 9.45am, we have our ‘Form’ service. This is an opportunity for the church to gather together, for teaching and discussion on a Bible passage or topic. This is an informal and relaxed meeting, but with excellent opportunities to learn together. We generally celebrate what we call ‘breaking of bread’ as part of the service. It lasts about 45 minutes.
Our 11am service is slightly longer (about 75 minutes) and is a mixture of praise and worship (with our full band) and a message from the Bible. We also run activities for children during this service. We believe that our services should be full of life and passion. As a church that believes in the power of God, we regularly create opportunities for people to be prayed for.

Sunday School / Children and Youth Activities
Under 12s:
Bridge Kids is for children of junior school age and younger and runs on Sunday mornings during the message at the 11am service. This is a time for all the children to gather for bible stories, games, crafts and more!
There are also crèche facilities in the back hall during our 11am meeting, where parents can supervise the younger children during the talk, which is amplified and projected through to the back room.
All of our workers are fully trained and DBS checked.

Under 18s:
Bridge youth is the youth ministry of Bridge Church Lincoln and is designed for everyone who is currently in secondary school. If you are aged 12-17 then you’re perfect for Bridge Youth!
Bridge youth is packed with fun, excitement and a challenging and uplifting environment. Our dream is to see as many young people as possible get connected with church and ultimately get connected with Jesus.
