Who we are
We are a church that desires to see people come into a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
We would like to invite you to join us for a Sunday morning service.
We are affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene and at the local level with the Indianapolis District Church of the Nazarene.
Beliefs:
The Triune God
Revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, He is holy love and light; eternally existent and infinite; Sovereign of the universe; holy in nature, attributes, and purpose; all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’” (John 14:6). We believe that “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Holy Spirit
We believe that, subsequent to regeneration, believers are to be entirely sanctified through the work of the Holy Spirit. We further believe that in the work of entire sanctification the believer’s heart is cleansed from all sin and that the believer filled with the Holy Spirit is enabled to love God with the whole heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as oneself. We believe that growth in grace and the disciplines of holy living are a lifelong necessity for a life wholly sanctified to the will and purposes of God.
The Bible
We believe in the inspiration and authority of Scripture. We hold that the Word of God is the primary source of revelation for knowing God. We believe the Bible was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the authoritative source of truth for holy living.
The Church
We believe in the Church, the covenant people of God made new in Christ, as the visible expression of God’s presence and mission in our world.

Pastor Mark comes to Castleton with a servant’s heart for the Lord and His people, and is excited for the journey that the Lord has ahead. Pastor Mark is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene having served in ministry in various capacities. He has served as a Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor and also as an Executive Director of Crisis Pregnancy Centers around the country as God has given him a heart for the unborn and standing for LIFE.
Pastor Mark is married to his best friend and love of his life, Anita. God blessed them with 3 biological children: Jonathan, Timothy and Jennifer. Then, God broke Anita’s heart for orphans and adoption which led to the adoption of their children, Kaylin and Kaleb, from China. This year their first grandbaby was born, Rosie Jane. Mark enjoys canoeing, swimming, beach vacations and spending time with his family. His greatest desire is to see peoples’ lives saved and changed through the work and power of God!

Connecting children and families through a relationship with God
Here at Castleton, we believe that every moment matters.
Each prayer, praise and God moment we want to share as a congregation.
We desire to help our kids see how active God really is in our lives. This is why we believe it is important for families to worship and pray together. Something very special happens when children are able to witness first-hand how people of all generations live out a life devoted to Jesus.
We also find that our mature believers benefit from being able to pour into younger lives. It is our prayer that God will reveal himself to your child in those precious moments as a congregation.
After worship the children are dismissed for Kinder-church and Children's church.
There they will have a lesson from the Bible that is geared to their age.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
