Who we are
Citipointe Church began as Brisbane Christian Outreach Centre (COC) in 1974 with a meeting of 25 people in a private house. Rapid growth saw moves to larger community halls then to a converted warehouse in West End within three years of its beginnings; and saw one church multiply into a ‘movement’ of churches – locally, nationally, then internationally.
In 1983 a 110-acre property at Wecker Road, Carindale was purchased and in 2000 Brisbane COC was renamed Citipointe Church under the leadership of Ps Mark and Leigh Ramsey; and now has a church population of over 7500 in four locations around the greater Brisbane region, Auckland, NZ and Northern Colorado, USA. As well as a 2000 seat church auditorium, The Citipointe Campus is the national hub of christian education, with:
Citipointe Childcare and Citipointe Kindergarten
Citipointe Christian College
Christian Heritage College
Citipointe Ministry College
