Our Core Beliefs

There is one God, existing as God the Father, our Creator; God the Son, our Lord and Savior; and God the Spirit, our Helper. Matthew 28:19-20; Colossians 2:9; John 14:9; John 14:16-17; Genesis 1:26
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died to reconcile humanity with God. He rose from the dead and later ascended into heaven. He will come again. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 3:16; John 14:3; Colossians 1:19-20
The Holy Spirit lives in believers renewing and transforming us and preparing us for a home in heaven. Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Titus 3:5-6
We are saved and forgiven by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:4-9; 2 Timothy 1:9
The church is the worldwide family of God and Jesus is the head. The church is made up of individuals and communities of believers working to make known the saving gospel of Christ. Ephesians 4:10-13; Colossians 1:15-18
We have a responsibility to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, baptize believers, and model God's love. Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 16:15-16; Romans 10:14-15
Following Jesus means we live differently, morally, mercifully, obeying the teachings and example of Christ. John 14:15
