Who we are
Welcome to the oldest Catholic parish on Cape Cod. For almost two hundred years Corpus Christi Parish has been carrying on the mission and ministry of Christ. Here at Corpus Christi Parish we celebrate the truth, beauty and majesty of the Catholic Church. We teach, preach and remain faithful to the Faith handed down to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ and those first eyewitnesses, the Apostles themselves. We strive to be faithful to this task with joy and the acceptance of all who come to our community seeking the truth. We understand our mission to be that of building up the Kingdom of God on Earth and of assisting all to know and love God so that they can be happy forever with Him in heaven. We see the Church not as a hotel for saints but a hospital for sinners and we believe that the remedy for healing our wounded souls is the powerful Sanctifying Grace that comes to us through the Sacraments which were instituted by Christ.
We open our doors to you with love and a desire that you will join us as we happily make our way to the new and eternal Jerusalem.
Your brother in the service of Corpus Christi Parish,
Father George E. Harrison, Pastor
