Who we are
Welcome to Crown of Life Church
The mission of this congregation shall be to witness the saving grace of Jesus Christ to His entire world.
To accomplish this mission, we preach the Word of God, administer the Sacraments, provide religious instruction for all our people, and encourage the growth of God’s church through mission work.
What We Believe . . .
We believe in and serve the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. We accept and teach Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Scripture alone, Faith alone.
Grace alone
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Scripture alone
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
Faith alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
Our Calling . . .
When Jesus was asked about what God expects of us, he gave a twofold response. First, we are to love and serve God. Second, we are to love and serve our neighbors. We strive to maintain this as our primary focus at Crown Of Life Lutheran Church. As God has loved us, we are called to love him and to share that love with others. As Jesus made it clear that he came not to be served but to serve, we believe the same to be true for our Church: We are servants of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Crown Of Life Lutheran Church History
Thank You, Lord
Your Holy Spirit enfolds me - making me realize I am not alone. Thank You for Your strength, Your wisdom and the comfort of Your presence. Even in the most agonizing times I have the knowledge that You are there, Lord. When all I can do is whisper Your Name, it is enough. You hear. You care. You understand. My praise and adoration, Lord Jesus. Amen.
