Who we are
Our Mission Statement
To love God, live the truth, aim for unity and reach out to the community.
We aim to serve other people in the Church and in the local, national and international communities. We actively welcome everyone, regardless of race, nationality, background or view of Christianity. We believe that God loves us wherever we are or whatever we struggle with.
Our Culture
As a Baptist Church we practise Believers Baptism by total immersion, not Infant Baptism (Christening). We believe believers baptism was the orthodox practice of the early Church, as evidenced by such Biblical passages as Acts 8 v 35-39 (NIV), about Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch:
'Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. As they travelled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptised?" Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." The official answered, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptised him. When they came back up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing."

submit yourself to Him
The will of God for your life is simply that you submit yourself to Him each day and say, "Father, Your will for today is mine. Your pleasure for today is mine. Your work for today is mine. I trust You to be God. You lead me today and I will follow."
