Over the years, we have seen God do amazing things at Eternity Church and through its people. Through Eternity, lives are being transformed in our community, our nation, and around the world. We are blown away by how God continues to strengthen and build His church and use us as a body of believers to bring the good news of the Gospel to people who need Jesus!

We are passionate about every person God created. Always willing to GO to our community, and show them Jesus lives, and "He Makes All Things New".

GROW

We GROW as we spend time with God, in His presence. It is only by God's power and in His presence that we become OVERCOMERS and are able to live this life to His glory - Growing in our relationship, knowledge and faith in Jesus Christ.

OVERFLOW

This blessed life will overflow from within us personally, and from within our church corporately into the community around us. His favor and blessing on us overflows.

STATEMENT OF FAITH AND ASSOCIATIONS

Eternity Church is a part of the Hillsong Leadership Network, and the Association of Related Churches.

Eternity Church agrees, and believes in the Nations Association of Evangelicals statement of faith as follows. Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Story

2012 - Pastor Jesse and Lauren Newman accepted the call of God to Pastor in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved their family from Australia to replant JCFC as Eternity Church. By the end of 2012 the church was growing significantly requiring a move into a larger facility. So a new home was found at 2000 NW 100th St, in Clive - the neighboring suburb.

2013 - Eternity church doubles in size and people get saved in every service.

2014 - Eternity Church doubled in size again, and began running two services. Salvation still in every service. Youth and Kids pastors are hired and both of these programs grow significantly - Eternity invests into the lives of our children.

2015 - Eternity Church doubles in size again, for the third year in a row.

2016 - Eternity Church continues to grow at an amazing pace - seeing people meet Jesus in every service. Eternity is currently in the process of purchasing the facilities that we currently meet in.

Due to the growth of the church a third Sunday service is planned to begin in the Fall on Sunday evenings, and a remodel of the facilities is planned for 2018. An associate pastor is hired and the church is still growing, preaching the word, loving our community and passionately worshipping Jesus.

God is blessing us as we remain passionate about winning the lost, leading people into more meaningful relationships with Jesus, and living a joy filled life!
