Who we are
We are an all-ages group of people who are passionate about following our Lord Jesus Christ! We meet weekly (sometimes more!) to sing His praise, pray, and learn from the Bible.
Our building is at 2625 Preston Ave South in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Come join us to discover God’s purpose for your life and to bring glory to Him!
At Faith River Christian Fellowship we are learning to follow Christ’s example of love as we grow in our walk with Him and in our relationships with each other. We are a community of people from many different walks of life who have found a common bond in Jesus Christ and the forgiveness, life and hope that He offers to us.
What We Believe
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has made Himself known to us in the Bible and in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that although God created humans to have fellowship with Him, they willfully chose to defy Him. As a result, we are alienated from God.
We believe Jesus Christ came to earth and voluntarily took the punishment for our sin when He died on the cross. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. We are able to have restored fellowship with God by choosing to personally trust in Jesus and accept the forgiveness God offers to us as a free gift.
We believe the church is to be a place of worship, fellowship, caring, growth and service, and has been commissioned by Christ to share His love and spread His teachings in our community and around the world.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, and is the final authority for what we believe and how we are to live.

Faith River Christian Fellowship History
In 2004 West Portal Church in Saskatoon sensed that God was leading them to expand beyond their current location, and a decision was made to start up a new church by “tithing” 10% of the congregation and one full-time pastor. So, in the spring of 2005, Pastor Andrew Fehr and 80 volunteers from West Portal stepped out and began what would become Faith River Christian Fellowship.
At a chartering service in September 2005, we were officially received as a member of the Saskatchewan Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. In January 2006 we purchased the building where we now meet. From the start we have experienced steady growth and today we are a mix of people from many different cultures and backgrounds, and all generations. From the beginning our desire has been for Faith River to be not just a gathering place for likeminded Christians, but a church that reaches out to those who have not yet discovered a relationship with Christ and His Church. This continues to be our focus as we worship and work together, and as we look to the future.
