Our Mission
First Baptist Church of Troy exists to passionately promote the glory of God’s name through the extension of Christ’s Lordship in the New Testament church throughout the world (Romans 1:1-5; Philippians 2:5-11; Matthew 28:19-20) via the evangelization of the lost, the edification of the saved, the establishment of vital churches, and the expansion of God’s salvific rule over the people groups of all nations (1 Corinthians 1:17; Colossians 1:28-29; Romans 12:4-8): “That the Word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored” (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
