Leader Bio:
Born and raised in the small town of Clinton, Missouri, I grew up knowing what it was to belong to a small community. By the age of twelve, after an experience at church camp, I knew I belonged in the ministry. I attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri where I majored in Religion/Philosophy with an emphasis in Pre-Ministry.
During college I served my first church, Emerson Christian Church. The skills and compassion I learned from the ministry I shared with the loving people at Emerson, began to lay the foundation of my life-long ministry. After college I had the honor of serving Broadway Christian Church, a large Disciples of Christ congregation in Columbia, Missouri.
Working with the youth there gave me opportunities I never knew possible. I even created some wonderful bonds with youth and adults alike that has stood the test of time. Theological training and obtaining my masters degree has brought me and kept me in Kentucky since July of 2004. As the minister of First Christian Church of Taylorsville I have grown with people that have truly shown me what ministry is all about, the people.
We have shared good times and bad, I have shared good sermons...and bad and we have been transformed through experiences we have shared as the people of God. We continue to look deep within ourselves as well as utilizing the latest in education and ministry techniques that continue to help us grow as the People of God.
Although I, as of yet, have not earned my degree, which I plan to work towards again in the near future, the congregation of FCC and I continue to minister to each other and together to our community and beyond. We hope you feel called to join us one Sunday as we worship together. Â

I ask for...
I ask you neither for health nor for sickness, for life nor for death; but that you may dispose of my health and my sickness, my life and my death, for your glory... You alone know what is expedient for me; you are the sovereign master, do with me according to your will. Give to me, or take away from me, only conform my will to yours. I know but one thing, Lord, that it is good to follow you, and bad to offend you. Apart from that, I know not what is good or bad in anything. I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom.
