Who we are
First Presbyterian Church (Founded 1837) is a multigenerational faith community with a rich history where people "know your name." We have an exceptional choir which brings wonderful music tto our weekly worship programs in addition to seasonal choral presentations. We have a noon Bible study on Wednesday. Our missions work includes a K2-K5 program founded in 1971.
We have an active young people's program in which we strive to equip our youth with an understanding of their faith and the ability to share it. We accomplish this through: missions opportunities, various recreational opportunities, leadership building, weekly meetings, choral activities, and cross generational activities.
In additional to local missions projects (i.e. Habitat for Humanity, Our Daily Bread, and various community outreach projects), we have worked with Mountain T.O.P. ministries in Appalachia (Tennessee).
Please come and join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am (Sunday school at 9:30 am; and our weekly Bible study at noon on Wednesdays.
