Who we are
"Global Family Fellowship is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, bible teaching, Christian church in the Tampa Bay area. Located in Clearwater, a short driving distance from these localities; Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Holiday, New Port Richey, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg. Our worship is contemporary, and the bible teaching is both practical and uplifting. There are several ministries of the church which are designed to minister to the whole family including Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Home Fellowship Cell Groups, Jr. & Senior High Youth group (Vertical Reality), Nurseries and pre-school classes are available during all services. Children's church is available during our Sunday morning service for young ones in K-5th grade. Our church is very active in world missions. Born in 1956, in suburban Chicago, Nick was raised in typical Italian, Roman Catholic traditions. He gave his heart to the Lord at the Full Gospel Businessmen's International Convention in November 1976 and began attending a Charismatic church in the Chicago land area. After several years working in management with the telephone company, Nick moved to Dunedin, Florida and began attending Countryside Christian Center, a young, growing church in Clearwater. He began volunteering in the church, helping to prepare the sanctuary for Sunday services by taking out the trash and straightening the chairs. After loosing his job as a sales manager he joined the church staff as the janitor. It was during this season that Nick learned the importance of faithfully serving the Lord in whatever opportunities are placed before you. The pastoral gifts were soon evident to the church leadership, as Nick's "singles Sunday school" class grew into a thriving Singles ministry, touching more than 300 singles monthly. Through his leadership in the singles ministry, Pastor Nick developed several outreach ministries to nursing homes, Juvenile Detention centers, and street evangelism. In 1987 Pastor Nick took his first short-term mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This trip became a life changing experience for him personally, and the church. Each year Pastor Nick would lead teams to the mission field, working alongside missionaries and national Pastors. Hundreds of people were saved on those short term trips, and many of the people from the church came back with a zeal to be involved in the work of the Lord in the church and community. From these trips several people began sensing a calling into full time mission ministry. In the 9 years Pastor Nick lead the mission department of the church, over 60 adults and children were trained and sent to the mission field for full time service. Pastor Nick developed the training and ongoing pastoral care for these mission families. At the time of his departure from Countryside Christian Center, Pastor Nick was one of the senior associate Pastors and the primary pulpit minister, when the senior Pastor was away from the church. In 1997 the Lord spoke to Pastor Nick that his season at CCC was coming to a close. In December 1997, Global Family Fellowship was born in Pastor Nick's home. This new church plant began with a hand full of folks who had a hunger for practical, balanced, bible centered teaching, and a desire to be used to help fulfill the Great Commission. Pastor Nick is a gifted and passionate communicator of God's word. His love for the bible, and heart to see people released into the destiny God has for them is a hallmark of his ministry. Pastor Nick has served as the District Presbyter for the state of Florida for Calvary Ministries Inc., International for the past three years. Pastor Nick, his wife, Elly, and their four children live in Dunedin, Florida.
