Who we are
Grace Brethren Church of Homerville: The Friendly Rural Church. Worship times at 9:30 for Sunday School and 10:30 for church. We have full children's ministries on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8 pm. Prayer meeting is at 7 on Wednesday evenings. Women's Bible studies are on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10 am. Men's basketball is on Monday evenings at 7. Men's Bible study is on Thursday evenings at 7. Office hours at the church are from Tuesday Through Friday from 7:30 -12:30. Located at 8992 Firestone Road, Homerville, Ohio. At the corner of Firestone Road and St. Rt. 224.

Leader Bio:
Pastor George Swain is a graduate of Grace College and Seminary. He has a BS in Business Administration from Grace College and a M. Div. from Grace Seminary. He also did post-graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma in linguistics and at Charles University in Prague. He and his wife Cindy planted a church in Prague, Czech Republic, where they lived for 21 years. They have three adult children who also love Jesus. Their entire family is fluent in English and Czech. The boys also speak Spanish. George grew up south of Mohicanville, Ashland County. His family has lived in that area since 1809. Â

Under 12s:
We have classes for all ages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Free transportation is provided for any child who does not have a ride to our children's services. Â

Local outreach & community activities
We distribute the Daily Bread to about 3,000 local households quarterly. We host a community Blood drive every 56 days. The Bookmobile is in our parking lot every Wednesday evening at 6. We have students in our youth group from 8 local school districts. We have basketball evenings every Monday evening at 7 for the community and women's exercise classes twice per week. Â
Other activities & ministries
We have small groups for men and women. Some of the activities that our men are involved in are woodcutting, hunting, shooting, meat grilling, pond restoration, auto repair, house restoration. We have a new youth room in progress and we are installing a new softball field.
