Who we are
GracePoint Christian Church is a loving and accepting Baptist church, where relationships are a priority for us. You will find our church environment friendly and accepting, as well as lively, non-traditional yet contemporary and relevant. Our pursuit is to see the people of the Eastern Suburbs and beyond, discover, encounter and engage with the love of God.
Our name Gracepoint comes from our value and practice of God’s grace. We believe we don’t have to work to earn God’s acceptance but that God already unconditionally loves and accepts us, we just need to believe it, and then life transformation is inevitable.
You will find a lot of activities at GracePoint Christian Church to suit a broad spectrum of ages and interests, including playgroups for parents and toddlers, and Life Groups which are small groups meeting in people’s homes throughout the week to explore life and faith together.

If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m passionate about life. I love life and believe my life purpose is to enjoy and respond to God’s sensational love for me. I think life flows out of an intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father.
I was born and raised in Sydney, and at age 18 went to live in Bathurst to study at Charles Sturt University. After graduating I worked in the sports industry for seven years before becoming a full-time Youth Pastor at Bathurst Baptist Church. While in Bathurst I met and married Marguerite, and fathered two daughters.
We all returned to Sydney in 2000, where I completed four years of theological training at Morling College. I have been the Senior Pastor at Gracepoint Christian Church in Sydney’s Eastern Surburbs since 2004.
I’m intentionally focused on seeing God’s will being done here on earth as it is in heaven. I long for the Kingdom of God to advance and for transformation to take place in people’s lives, communities, Sydney, Australia and the Nations through the Holy Spirit’s presence.

Parking
Church carpark is open. Extra parking can be found off-site. Lord Street has ample parking available and is a short 5 minute walk to our building.

Pre-service prayer starts at 9:30am for approx 15 mins. Meet just near the stage.

GracePoint Christian Church History
Gracepoint is a contemporary Christian church located in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. We’re charismatic in practice with a strong emphasis on grace and spiritual renewal and experiencing the love of God. Gracepoint is a member of the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT.
A faith community since 1932
Gracepoint was established as a church on 1st December 1932, and became Randwick Baptist Church in May 1933. Over the years, there have been many changes to the worship style, practices and structures of the church. In 2002, the church changed its name to Gracepoint Christian Church.
