Who we are
Who are we?
We are a a group of believers who meet and worship together in Gungahlin, a new and developing area of Canberra within the Australian Capital Territory.
Our vision is to grow joyful followers of Jesus, and to equip them for service through God’s Word empowered by his Holy Spirit
Gungahlin Anglican Church is a young, growing, and family-oriented Church. We believe that God loves us, and through the death and resurrection of his son Jesus we have new life.
By the end of 2015, under God, we hope to see a church of at least 600 people (growing in numbers), spread across four congregations.
Our model of worship
We worship in the Anglican tradition, but do so informally and with relevance to this century, for both those who may have been to church before and for those that have not. We are committed to reaching a hurting world, both locally and globally, with the Good News that Jesus Christ brings healing and hope in our brokenness and sin. We look to the Bible as the source of God’s message and instruction to us. Meeting in small groups, we seek to grow as Christians, both as individuals and as a Church. As God loves and cares for us, we strive to love and care for others. We are a people who use the skills, the time, and the resources given to us by God to minister to others.
The wider Church
Gungahlin Anglican Church operates as part of the wider Anglican Church of Australia, and more locally the Canberra & Goulburn Diocese.

Come Lord Jesus!
Lord Jesus, master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. We who have so much to do seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day. We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us. We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom. We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence. We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light. To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!"
