Who we are
We are a church of ordinary people. We are a place where God and His Word are honoured. Every soul is valued by God, and we would love to have you as a part of that fellowship. We are a people who serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We are the Bangor church of Christ, and you can be too.
OUR VISION
To preach and teach the simple Gospel of Christ found in the pages of the New Testament. We want to share God's message with lost souls, and support and encourage everyone to live in full accordance with the will of God, glorifying Him in every part of their lives, whether at home, at work, or in the community (Matthew 28:19-20).
WHAT WE DO
We follow the pattern of the New Testament. That means every Sunday we meet together to worship God.
Just like they did in the first century church, our worship is directed to God, and includes preaching, acappella singing, prayer, sharing the Lord’s Supper, and giving back to God from our means. We worship this way every Lord’s day (Acts 20:7).
WHO WE ARE
For us, church doesn't stop Sunday night. We are the church and we live our lives in a way that brings glory to God. We try to be like Jesus in our daily lives, from conversations with friends to how we do our jobs, we always try to be kind, patient, and loving. We don't always get that right. We're not perfect, but Jesus is, and through Him we do our best and that is all that God requires (1 John 1:7).
