We believe in Radical Hospitality in our personal walk with Christ, which begins with an extraordinary receptivity to the grace of God. In distinctive and personal ways, we invite God into our hearts and make space for God in our lives. We receive God’s love and offer it to others.
We believe in God who is infinite in wisdom, power, and love, whose mercy is over all His works, and whose will is ever directed to His childrens' good.
We believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of man, the gift of the Father’s unfailing grace, the ground of our hope, and the promise of our deliverance from sin and death.
We believe in the Spirit-filled life. As the supernatural and sovereign Agent in regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit also indwells, sanctifies, instructs, empowers believers for service, and seals believers unto the day of redemption.

The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by building its members up in the faith, by instruction of the Word, by fellowship, by keeping the ordinances, and by advancing and communicating the Gospel to the entire world. The formation of the Church, the Body of Christ, began on the Day of Pentecost and will be completed at the coming of Christ for His own at the rapture.

Cynthia L. Thompson is a native of Dayton Ohio. Upon graduating from high school, Ms. Thompson attended Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida, graduating with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Ms. Thompson returned to Dayton where she accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior and subsequently attended the University of Cincinnati Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate.
In 1994, Ms. Thompson opened her own law office, focusing primarily on Juvenile law and Criminal Defense. In July 1999, Ms. Thompson became the first African American appointed as Magistrate to the Greene County Ohio Juvenile Court, where she retired after 23 years of service. The majority of cases heard by Ms. Thompson dealt with child abuse and neglect. Additionally, Ms. Thompson served as an adjunct professor and advocate of Family Violence Awareness, giving a voice to the voiceless.
Ms. Thompson felt the call to a new journey in the Ministry in 2012. Reverend Thompson now serves as an ordained Elder and Pastor in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Reverend Thompson graduated from United Theological Seminary in May 2016 with a Master's Degree in Christian Ministry and in May 2021 with a Doctorate of the Ministry.
Reverend Dr. Thompson continues to be an advocate, speaker, and teacher for intimate partner violence awareness, child abuse awareness, elder abuse awareness, mental health awareness, and end of life planning. Reverend Dr. Thompson is now a published author with the debut of her book, I Am Not My Sister’s Keeper, I Am My Sister.
