Who we are
The story that makes us who we are begins and ends with God.
We find ourselves, and the meaning of our life together,
in the middle of the greatest love story ever told:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever trusts in him...shall have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Our story is about the person revealed to us in the gospel of Jesus,
the Nazarene, who is God the incarnate Word and Son conceived by the
Holy Spirit--the face of the eternal, infinite, unchanging Trinity of love--through whom all things were created in the first place and in
whom God has acted freely for us and our salvation.

Hemet Church of the Nazarene History
Inspire my thoughts
Holy Spirit of God, visit now this soul of mine, and tarry within it until the eventide. Inspire all my thoughts. Pervade all my imaginations. Suggest all my decisions. Lodge in my soul's most inward citadel, and order all my doings. Be with me in silence and in my speech, in my haste and in my leisure, in company and in solitude, in the freshness of the morning and the weariness of the evening. Give me grace at all times to rejoice in Thy mysterious companionship.
