Who we are
At Holy Spirit Gungahlin Catholic Church we seek to be a community where
The symbol of the basin and the towel is a constant reminder of our model of service (Jn 13:1-15)
All feel welcome and included
Personal, family and communal prayer is encouraged and nurtured
We celebrate vibrant, meaningful and inclusive liturgies
All are empowered to use their gifts to help our community grow
Parish and schools work together collaboratively
We are nourished and missioned to be bearers of the Good News in our world.

Holy Spirit Gungahlin History
Â
Lord, teach me to listen.
The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart. Let me get used to the sound of Thy voice, that its tones may be familiar when the sounds of earth die away and the only sound will be the music of Thy speaking. Amen.
