Holy Trinity Episcopal Church History
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is a diverse congregation, the kind of church where as soon as you pass through its doors, you are welcomed by warm friendly people and are made to feel at home. On your second visit, you will notice that parishioners remember and greet you by name! We are comprised of people of all ages, races and ethnicities.
The church is a haven to all who visit, as a church should be. From its high wooden beamed ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows and classic pipe organ, to the simple sanctuary with its suspended crucifix, there is a feeling of complete peace and tranquility.
Though small, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is a giant in the community. The church houses our Thrift Shop, Nursery School, Valley Stream Adult Education, Valley Stream Historical Society, Literacy Nassau, SAT Prep classes, Al Anon, and Monte de Santidad Assembly of God Church. Parishioners participate in Habitat for Humanity, the Valley Stream Food Pantry, the NY Cares Coat Campaign, and at holiday times we Adopt-a-Family and take cheer to the Franklin Nursing Home.
