Who we are
Leaksville Christian Church is an Independent church, located 3 miles south of Luray, and 3 miles north of Stanley, in the village of Leaksville, VA. Our church was established in 1880 as the Leaksville Christian Church, and stands on the Holy Bible, independently, as our sole authority. We seek to be a Bible-Based Christian Church, full of both Grace and Truth, following the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant, Word of God. We love and welcome all to attend our church, while never compromising the truth of the Bible, in its instruction for our daily lives, and for the life of our church. We believe that the church is a place to learn about our Lord Jesus Christ, to give hope to the lost, to show how Jesus can save and change lives through a personal relationship with Him and is a place to walk out our Christian lives and to serve our Lord.
“The Old is New in 2022” as we look back to our past, to our spiritual foundation, to the founders of Leaksville Christian Church, whose prayers are still being answered today, for a fresh and new vision for our future, as we share the love of Jesus Christ and the hope He gives, throughout our community

Leader Bio:
Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a young child and felt the call of God on his life from a young age. He grew up in Page County and graduated from Luray High School in 2002.
After returning home from college, Robert met his wife Margi at church, and they were married in 2010. Both Robert and Margi served together in their church and have a passion for Men’s and Women’s Ministry. Robert also served as a Deacon, and Margi supported the Deacon Ministry alongside her husband. Robert answered the call to preach in November of 2019 and was ordained into the ministry a year later, at Antioch Independent Bible Church in Luray in November 2020, under the leadership and direction of Pastor Frank Painter. Robert has also served as an Associate Pastor in Page County and provided pulpit supply to area churches in Luray and Stanley. Robert began filling the pulpit at Leaksville in December of 2021 and was called as Pastor on February 20, 2022.
Outside of church, Robert served his community on the Page County Board of Supervisors right after college for a 4-year term (2010-2013) and has worked in the municipal water treatment field in the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia, and Central Virginia, as his secular career since 2007.
Robert and Margi have been blessed with 4 beautiful children; Chloe, John, Carter, and Jackson, and their whole family has a part in their ministry. They enjoy country living in Page County, and Margi homeschools their children, and the kids enjoy spending time outdoors, taking care of their family dog and cats, and their small flock of laying hens.
