Who we are
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matthew 28:19)
Our mission shall be to promote the worship of God by the preaching of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ at home and abroad, trusting that as a result sinners shall be saved and believers edified.
The Bible to be the complete word of God; that both Old and New Testaments, as originally written, were verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and thus free from error; that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and Christian conduct.
In one true God, eternally existing in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); that these three are equal in every divine perfection and that these three execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
In the absolute deity of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and His personal return to earth.
In the absolute deity of the Holy Spirit who convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgments; who generates, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Helper and Guide.
That all men are sinners by nature and by choice are under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ as personal Savior are generated by the Holy Spirit.
In the universal Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all generated persons are members. We also believe that the local Church consists a company of believers in Jesus Christ that have been baptized upon a credible profession of faith, and which now associates for worship, fellowship, and the doing of good works.
That water baptism by means of immersion and the Lord’s supper are the ordinances to be observed by the Church during this present age.
In the personal and imminent second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and in the judgment and eternal punishment of the wicked.
That Satan exist as an evil personality and is the originator of sin; that he is in the archenemy of God and man in that he mobilizes his demonic forces to attack the Church of the living God.
In the entire separation of the Church and State.
The civil government is of divine appointment for the interest and good order of society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, honored and obeyed, except only in the things opposed to the will of God.
That Sunday being the first day of the week, is the Lord’s Day and that, in a special sense, it is the divinely appointed day for worship and spiritual exercise. Christians are expected not to forget the assembling of themselves together for the purpose of worship, fellowship, and the doing of good works.
That marriage is the exclusive covenant between two distinct creational entities that is, one man and one woman.

Abide in my heart
Come, Lord Jesus, and abide in my heart. How grateful I am to realize that the answer to my prayer does not depend on me at all. As I quietly abide in You and let Your life flow into me, what freedom it is to know that the Father does not see my threadbare patience or insufficient trust, rather only Your patience, Lord, and Your confidence that the Father has everything in hand. In Your faith I thank You right now for a more glorious answer to my prayer than I can imagine. Amen.
