WHO ARE WE
We are a friendly fellowship with a wide age range.
Our Junior Church is growing and we welcome local young people and those on holiday to join us. We are fortunate to have a number of very skilled Sunday school teachers who work extremely hard to teach the children with imagination and enthusiasm.
STATEMENT of FAITH
Malborough Baptist Church exists to glorify God and to establish a loving community of people who follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, Bible study and friendship. We seek to grow in the understanding of God’s ways to experience His love and to respond by serving the community in which we live through evangelism, social concern and practical action.

Other information
Malborough Baptist Church History
The first Baptist services held in the village were held in a house owned by Thomas Luckham from about 1800. In 1814 the site of the present chapel was purchased and the Church was opened in 1815. The church was linked with Kingsbridge Baptist Church up to 28th March 1839. After that date the church worshipped as a separate fellowship and appointed its first minister in 1839.
On 26th and 28th September 1872 special services were held to celebrate the re-opening of the chapel after alterations and the completion of the new Sunday school premises.
