Who we are
New Life Christian Ministries (NLCM) is a Pentecostal church that began early in 1987. NLCM formerly known as The Rock Christian Ministries was founded by Pastor Michael York. The church began meeting in Magee Street Ashcroft and it is now located at ELIM house cnr Bathurst and Moore streets Liverpool.
In 1995 we linked with several other churches to become part of the emerging family of New Life Churches of Australia.
The unique ministry of NLCM can be directly attributed to the influences of Pastors Michael York and Roger Waters. The meetings are relaxed and informal, focusing on authentic worship and fellowship. Our members see themselves as part of the local church of JESUS Christ in the South Western area of Sydney. We believe in the Charismatic functioning of all believers and our meetings are structured to facilitate active participation by all members.
