Welcome to North Perth Church, a community of people who believe in God of the Bible. As Seventh-day Adventists we are committed to sharing God’s life-transforming love. We seek to encourage everyone to come to God in quiet humility to learn about Him and discover that He gives more back to us than we could ever give Him. With spiritual, personal and emotional growth, we can all be a part of God’s family and show His love to others.
At North Perth Seventh-day Adventist Church our mission is to share the gospel of Christ with everyone. We want to experience Jesus Christ in every facet of our lives and share that hope the He brings in this life. Our world is in a state of disarray with many struggling to understand all that they are seeing, hearing and experiencing. In Jesus Christ there is hope that lets us see through the fog of confusion into the peace of heart and mind that only He can offer.

Derek McCutcheon is our dynamic senior pastor with over 20 years of ministry experience. His predominant focus has been on ministering to young people in schools and churches, as well as empowering and coaching youth leaders and church planters around the country.
He is passionate about spiritual development and loves sharing the Bible and the Adventist message in a modern day context that excites people to become enthusiastic followers of Jesus. He believes that church planting is the best way to ‘seek and save’ and is constantly working at inspiring people to follow the Spirit’s leading to re-ignite the passion of the early church found in the book of Acts.
He is married to Julie and has two daughters Michaela and Kaitlyn. His hobbies include reading, writing, playing/inventing board games and all things AFL.
He is excited to help North Perth Church on their continuing journey to love God (Reach Up), care for each other (Reach In) and help inspire others in the community to do the same (Reach Out).

Sunday School / Children and Youth Activities
Under 12s:
Children
Our church caters for children each week by providing Sabbath school classes for several age groups:
Teens (ages 10-16)
Primary (ages 6-9)
Kindergarten (ages 3-5)
Beginners (for parents with infants 0-2 yrs)
The weekly children Sabbath school (Bible study) classes each week from 9:30-10:30 and contain songs, crafts, quizzes, games and Bible stories.
Children are invited to join their parents during the church service where there will be a children's story for them.
