Who we are
Welcome to Our Lady of Sorrows!
Over the past several months, you have heard information about our upcoming building renovation project, Restore, Renew, Rejoice! This effort will prepare Our Lady of Sorrows for the future by providing necessary safety and accessibility upgrades.
We have now begun the next phase of Restore, Renew, Rejoice! by launching an historic campaign that will realize funding for all of our capital needs. This effort will also satisfy Our Lady of Sorrows’ sacrificial participation in the Archdiocese-wide campaign, Family of Faith. Every parish will participate in Family of Faith, an extraordinary initiative to advance key funding for Archdiocesan ministries, programs and facilities. Today, just 32 of the 225 parishes within our Archdiocese have completed their portion of this phased effort. We are excited to announce that more than $55,000,000 of the $105,000,000 overall goal has been committed!
Over the next several weeks, we will continue to share details about Restore, Renew, Rejoice! and highlight key elements in our bulletin and on our website. I look forward to sharing this important effort with you and receiving your decision. I pray that you will join me as we leave a legacy of stewardship for future generations.
