Who we are
Rawdon Street Baptist Church was started in the late 1800s as a mission to children in the community. Today it has become an active but small vibrant faith community attempting to minister to the needs of the area and a member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada.
"Our motto is simple; “SERVING THE FATHER THE WAY CHRIST DID BY SERVING OTHERS"
Our theology is as follows: we believe the Scriptures are the Word of God and the give Light and Life to those seeking God’s truth. Being a Baptist Church we believe in baptism by immersion and salvation by faith, believing in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As a Pastor I love what I do, I love seeing people grow in their faith and excel in their life. Some of the activities I enjoy are canoeing and kayaking; every year I take at least one youth group down the Grand River and in the past have led many trips into Algonquin Park. Also yearly I take a group of students and do the Polar Bear Swim in Lake Erie on Jan. 1st.
As the Pastor of Rawdon Street Baptist Church I firmly believe that God has called me to minister to both our Church family and the surrounding community. One of the ways I do that is by being available to perform weddings, child blessing services, and funerals for both those connected and not connected with our Church family. Here is a list of some of the places that I’ve performed weddings: The Train Station, The Fifty Yard line of Ivor Wynne Stadium, The War Plane Museum, Victoria Park in Kitchener and hundreds of other interesting locations.
