Who we are
WELCOME HOME
The Bible has a few constant themes throughout. First, humans have a way of doing the wrong things. Being disobedient to God’s Commands, this is what we call sin, and we are all guilty of it (Romans 3.23). Because of our sin humans have found themselves in a foreign place where they don’t belong (Exile). Adam and Eve, Cain, Israel, even the Jewish Christians in the New Testament, and now us. Because of this exile we are in need of a King. Israel had King David, later when they found themselves in exile to Babylon and finally got to return home they needed another King. All throughout this theme of exile and sin, God shows how he redeems His people, always faithful even when the people of the Bible were unfaithful.
Fast forward, JESUS comes along and is the new King David, who has come to set the captives free. He came as a man to live our lives and redeem us once and for all from this sin (A different kind of King). He died for us, redeemed us and is calling us home! We want to welcome you into our community, where we worship the King of Kings and allow him to redeem us at Redemption Outreach Center. We worship and wait for the final return of our Savior and Redeemer.

Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
