Who we are
Welcome to St. John of the Cross Parish
Our Mission
>>To provide for the spiritual & temporal well-being of those entrusted to our care
>>To reach out, welcome, and invite all people to help us build a stronger parish community
>>To encourage the parishioners to enrich themselves by participating in the Liturgies, Devotions, and other Spiritual Activities by giving of their time, treasure, and talents. In doing so, the parish will grow in its spiritual relationships with Jesus Christ; create a family-centered community that lives according to the teaching of Jesus Christ and Catholic Traditions, and is focused on the ultimate goal: to love and serve the Lord with one's whole heart and soul.

Come Lord Jesus!
Lord Jesus, master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. We who have so much to do seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day. We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us. We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom. We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence. We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light. To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!"
