Who we are
Originally named Holy Trinity and located in Chelsea Green on the corner of Edna and Adelaide, St Andrew Memorial moved to its current location on the corner of Wellington and Foxbar in 1941.
The original building opened for Sunday services in 1941 and is still in use today by two masonic orders operating youth education programs and the London Consistory Club. Upon moving to this building, Holy Trinity was renamed to St Andrew Memorial in honour of Andrew Jamieson, the first Anglican missionary to Walpole Island.
As Old South grew and expanded, so too did the parish and it soon became necessary to build a new and larger building. It is in this building that St Andrew Memorial still meets today.
Opened and dedicated in 1957 this building has been the centre of our community and worship ever since. The current facilities left to us from previous generations allow us to continue in the heritage of Andrew Jamieson in reaching out to the greater community in loving service.
Throughout its history, St Andrew Memorial has seen its place in the Diocese of Huron and in the city of London as a place of service, a cornerstone of the community and a place where through word and deed we make known the Good News of Jesus Christ.

By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare. And when this cup You give is filled to brimming with bitter suffering, hard to understand, we take it thankfully and without trembling, out of so good and so beloved a hand. Yet when again in this same world You give us the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun, we shall remember all the days we lived through, and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
