St Andrew's Church Service Times
Sunday
8am Eucharist BCP or CW
This is a small, contemplative, spoken service using traditional orders of service for Holy Communion. The clergy are robed and the short sermon is often given by church members and local ordinands.
Common Worship is used on the 1st, 3rd & 5th sundays, and Book of Common prayer is used on the 2nd and 4th sundays of each month.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
9.30am Family Service
This is an informal family service with children's groups running from creche up to Pathfinders (11-14 years old). The children move to their groups after the opening part of the service. There is Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday in the month. There is a music group and whilst the children are with us, songs for them to join in and sing to. On the 1st Sunday of every month we have an all age service (with no children's groups) which lasts 45 mins.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
11.15am Morning Prayer
This is a more formal service following Common Worship liturgy with robed clergy. There is Holy Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays. There is an organist and a small choir to lead us in our sung worship.
Every Sunday at 11:15 AM for 1 hour
6pm Evening Service
This is a vibrant and lively service with modern music and a worship band. It is a much more informal style of service and there is space for prayer ministry during or after the service. Holy Communion is on 2nd and 5th Sundays. During this service there are activities for young people between 11 and 14 years old (school years 7 to 9). After the service there are activities for young people between 14 and 18 years old.
