St Augustine of Canterbury Service Times
Sunday
Holy Communion
On the 1st Sunday in the month, there is a sung communion service at St Augustine's. The service is in modern English, with a serMonday Refreshments are served in church afterwards - everyone is welcome.
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour
Benefice Communion

Family Service
In addition to the monthly Family Services we hold in Holy Trinity West Hendred and Holy Trinity Ardington on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month respectively, we are now experimentally also launching a Family Service in East Hendred at 10.30am on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
We hope that this will be ‘user friendly’ for families in East Hendred and elsewhere and that the 10.30 time will be convenient for those whom the 9.00am start in West Hendred is a bit too early. The Service will be similar in format to our existing Family Services and is intended to supplement these family services, and not to replace them.
Please do come along and support this new initiative, whatever your age. We hope it will be accessible and of interest to everyone.
Every third Sunday at 10:30 AM for ½ hour

On the 4th Sunday in the month, the service at St Augustine's is Morning Prayer at 10:30am, led by a member of the congregation.

The way, the truth, and the life
Lord Jesus, thou who art the way, the truth, and the life; hear us as we pray for the truth that shall make all free. Teach us that liberty is not only to be loved but also to be lived. Liberty is too precious a thing to be buried in books. It costs too much to be hoarded. Help us see that our liberty is not the right to do as we please, but the opportunity to please to do what is right.
