Who we are
St. Bernard’s Parish is one of the oldest in the Archdiocese of Halifax. The current parish comprises 700+ registered members from Enfield, Elmsdale, Lantz, Nine Mile River and surrounding areas.
St. Bernard’s has evolved over the years but one thing has not changed at all, it has always been and is yet a welcoming and vibrant parish where family and friends support one another and reach out to all newcomers with joy. We are committed to sharing the Good News with all, to blessing His world by our efforts in His name.

Christmas 2021
Christmas Mass Update
Out of an abundance of care and consideration and the importance of following the current provincial restrictions we have moved all masses during the Christmas season and up to January 12th to online. There will be no in person masses. While this was not how we wished to spend the Christmas season we recognize that it is imperative that we show our love for one another in our actions as we moved forward. The best way to do so is by limiting public gatherings to keep us all safe and healthy.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and invite you to join us during Mass over the Christmas season.

St. Bernard's Parish History
Put me to what You will
Lord, I am no longer my own, but Yours. Put me to what You will, rank me with whom You will. Let be employed by You or laid aside for You, exalted for You or brought low by You. Let me have all things, let me have nothing, I freely and heartily yield all things to Your pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are mine and I am Yours. So be it. Amen.
