zur deutsch sprechenden Pfarrfamilie von St. Bonifatius, eine römisch-katholische Pfarrei in Calgary, Alberta, Kanada.
Wir sind eine ueberregionale Pfarrei in der Diözese Calgary, wo die Sonntagsmesse in Deutsch gefeiert wird. Eine Ausnahme ist der 1.Sonntag im Monat, wenn die Messe in Englisch gelesen wird um nicht-deutsch sprechenden Familienmitgliedern Gelegenheit zu geben mit ihren Angehoerigen die Messe zu besuchen und zu feiern.
Alle, ihre Freunde, Kinder und Familien sind eingeladen zum Besuch, zur Feier vom Gottesdienst und zu Mitarbeit in christlicher Gemeinschaft. Obwohl die Seelsorge unser erstes Ziel ist, erfreuen wir uns auch an deutschen Traditionen und versuchen Brücken zu bilden zwischen Heimat und Kultur in der wir leben.
Der Pfarrer der Gemeinde ist ein Mitglied des Pallottiner Ordens in Limburg (Deutschland), der sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, die deutschsprachigen Pfarreien in Kanada seelsorglich zu betreuen. Welcome...
The parishioners of St. Boniface Parish, a Roman Catholic German-language church, welcomes you!
We are a part of the Diocese of Calgary, but regionally not restricted to a diocese area; everybody is welcome, children, families and friends, all who wish to participate in celebrating German service, in parish activities or enjoy German traditions. For our English speaking friends we have each 1st Sunday of the month a service in English so families with mixed language background can participate as a whole!
Although the pastoral care of all people is priority, we enjoy German traditions and building bridges to the culture we live in.
The pastor of the parish is a member of the Pallottine Fathers based in Limburg (Germany). One of the order’s goals is to take care of pastoral needs for German-speaking parishes in Canada and the world.
