Who we are
Mission Statement
St. Dominic Parish is a faith community with a diversity of cultures and backgrounds, which is called to be a sign of God’s presence in the world. Loved by the Lord, we are called and challenged by God’s Word to continue the mission of Jesus with gratitude, genuine concern for one another, meaningful and life-giving worship and by handing on the treasury of God’s Word and Sacraments to our children. We seek to be a welcoming and accepting community, in which we share ourselves and receive the gifts that each one brings to the life of the Parish.
Parish Boundaries
St. Dominic Parish serves the spiritual needs for all Roman Catholics living in the Northwood neighbourhood of the City of Thunder Bay, as well as the the Roman Catholic Italian Community of the South Ward of the City.
