Who we are
St James’ Church, Southlake, Woodley is a lively Anglican Parish on the outskirts of Reading, Berkshire. Some of us have been at the church since it began about 40 years ago and others have joined more recently. We span a wide age range too!
We seek to be a church family who worship God and live our lives in response to that experience and in the light of what we learn from The Bible. We seek also to engage with and serve our community, expressing God’s love in word and action.
We would love to welcome you at St James’ whether you are just visiting the area or have perhaps moved into this part of Woodley and are looking for a local church or if you are wanting to find out about the Christian Faith. We invite you to join us for services and weekday activities.
St James’ is a Fairtrade church, and a registered eco-congregation
