St John's Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to connect to Christianity in the Walsall Wood area.
We aim to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.
We are a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God.
Our vision is to make an impact for God, here in Walsall Wood, West Midlands by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds.

Sunday
Holy Communion
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes
St John's Sunday School
St John's Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9.30 (except 2nd Sunday of the month). The children meet in appropriate age groups to learn about our faith and have fun together. The youngest group meets in the church meeting room and the older groups meet in St John's Community hall, adjacent to the church. They join the adult congregation about half way through the morning service, and are invited to tell us about their activities. All welcome.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour
Holy Communion
First and Third (and Fifth) Sundays. During school term time we have a lively Sunday School for children, who join us part way through the service. A Creche is also available.
Every first third and fifth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Family Service
Our Family Service takes place on the second Sunday of each month and is intended to be a genuine act of worship for all ages: for those with families, for our church family, and for the wider family of our community. Come alone; come with children; come with husbands, wives, mums and dads, grandmas and grandads, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, carers and pals. Everybody welcome.
We take a break during August.

A modern service concentrating on the word of God and prayer. A little more structured than the Family Service but shorter than a full service of Holy Communion
Every fourth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 50 minutes
Evening Prayer / Holy Communion
Evening Prayer on 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays.
Holy Communion on 2nd Sunday.
Every first second third and fifth Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
Celebration Praise
Our monthly evening Praise Service where the hymns and songs are chosen by the congregation. Everybody Welcome.

Children's Choir Practice
Our Children's Choir meets each Wednesday to rehears the songs we will use at our monthly family service. We have some fun and refreshments along the way. Children should be 8 years or older. Enthusiastic children always welcome.
