Every first and third Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour

St John's is in a Benefice (a group with the same Vicar) as two other churches, St Michaels Hathersage, and St Helen's Grindleford. When there is a fifth Sunday in the month all the churches meet together for a service at 10am. Please contact us for further information about the location.

Join us on the first Sunday of every month for an informal service with coffee and cake. The service is usually based on a theme, is interactive and engaging, and begins with coffee, cake, and an opportunity to chat with each other.

All are welcome to join us for this service of Holy Communion. The service will include hymns and songs led by an organ or guitar, prayers, readings from the Bible, and a serMonday Children are welcome at the service and baby changing facilities are available.
