Sunday
Sunday School at St John's
The Sunday School meets' every third Sunday, in the Hall of Kidmore End Primary School, which adjoins the church.

Every third Sunday at 10:50 AM for 1 hour
Parish Eucharist
Partly sung Eucharist with hymns, generally using Common Worship. All welcome, including families . For information about our choir, see below [Friday]
NOTE- Where there are five Sundays in the month, the Parish Eucharist, on the 5th Sunday will normally be replaced by a Benefice Eucharist. Please check "Our Web Site" [see link on this page] for confirmation of this service, together with details of venue and time.
Every first second and fourth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Eucharist
Every third Sunday we try to be more informal and to encourage families to play a more active part in the service [a Eucharist], at which we normally welcome the Cubs, the Scouts and the Sunday School..
Every third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 55 minutes
Wednesday
Little Lambs
Little Lambs is a friendly church group, meeting in St John's Church, Kidmore End, and offering a short service,craft activities and refreshments, primarily for children under five, and their parents/carers.

Every last Wednesday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour
Meeting of Men's Group
This small group meets monthly for fellowship and discussion. Enquiries to - Nick Launders, tel: 01491 628243
Every second Wednesday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
Prayer Time
Prayer Time takes place every Wednesday, at 4.30pm, at 2 , Priory Copse, where a lighted candle is placed in the window and prayers are said for the appointment of a new Bishop and for for the ongoing changes within our Benefice
Wednesday at 4:30 PM for ½ hour
Thursday
Third Thursday Drop In
This event, held in Christ the King Hall, Sonning Common, is an opportunity for friends to meet for a cup of tea or coffee, and a chat. Particularly welcome are those who are finding it difficult to get out and about, and it it is hoped to be able to provide transport, where necessary

Friday
Choir
St John's has a small but enthusiastic 4-part choir, which sings at the 11am service every Sunday and at special services such as Good Friday, All Souls and Christmas. The repertoire is very wide-ranging, including plainsong and baroque pieces, arrangements from the classics, traditional songs from around the world and contemporary music for worship. The choir, augmented by singers from Christ the King Church , Sonning Common [daughter church], has recently begun to give small concerts too. Choir practice is weekly, on Friday evenings at 7.30pm and new members are always welcome, adults and children.
